모시는 말씀

안녕하십니까? (사)한국인도학회와 한국외국어대학교 인도연구소가 공동으로 준비한 

공동학술대회 및 제59차 정기학술대회에 여러분을 모시게 되어 반갑게 인사 드립니다. 

한 해의 연구 활동을 돌아보고 앞으로의 방향을 함께 고민하고자 다시 한자리에 모일 수 있게 되어 뜻깊게 생각합니다.

이번 학술대회는 “인도연구: 새로운 패러다임의 모색과 도전”이라는 주제로 2025년 12월 13일 토요일 한국외국어대학교에서 개최됩니다. 

인도 사회·정치·문화 연구에서 새롭게 제기되고 있는 관점과 방법론을 살펴보고, 

변화의 흐름 속에서 인도연구가 나아갈 방향을 함께 모색하고자 마련된 자리입니다. 

또한 올해 한국인도학회는 한국연구재단 학술지 지원사업에 선정되었으며, 

그 일환으로 운영되고 있는 연구소모임의 연구 성과를 공유하는 세션을 특별 구성하였습니다. 

다양한 연구 주제와 시각이 한자리에 모이는 만큼, 

서로의 관심과 질문을 나누며 새로운 영감을 얻는 따뜻한 학문 교류의 시간이 되기를 바랍니다.

발표를 맡아주신 발표자 선생님들, 논평과 좌장을 맡아주신 선생님들께 깊이 감사드립니다. 

학술대회 준비를 위해 힘써주신 학회 임원진께도 감사의 마음을 전합니다. 

무엇보다 학회원 여러분의 지속적인 관심과 참여가 학회의 연구 활동을 든든하게 뒷받침하고 있습니다. 

바쁘신 가운데서도 참석하시어 인도학 연구의 발전과 교류에 함께해 주시기를 부탁드립니다.

Greetings from the Korean Society for Indian Studies (KSIS). 

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Joint Conference organized by the KSIS and the Institute of Indian Studies (IIS) at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), 

held in conjunction with the 59th Regular Conference of the KSIS. 

We are delighted to gather once again to reflect on the past year of research and to consider future directions in our field.

This year’s conference, titled “Indian Studies: Exploring and Challenging New Paradigms,” will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at HUFS. 

The event aims to examine emerging perspectives and methodologies in the study of Indian society, politics, and culture, 

and to discuss how Indian Studies may evolve amid shifting academic and global contexts. 

In addition, the KSIS has been selected for the National Research Foundation of Korea’s Academic Journal Support Program this year, 

and a special session has been arranged to present the research outcomes of the associated research groups. 

We hope that the wide range of topics and approaches introduced in this session 

will provide a warm forum for exchanging ideas, sharing questions, and gaining new insights.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all presenters, discussants, and session chairs for their valuable contributions. 

We also thank the members of our executive committee whose dedicated efforts have made this event possible. 

Above all, we are grateful to our members whose continued interest and participation sustain the academic activities of the Society.

We kindly ask for your participation in the conference and hope it becomes an opportunity to further 

strengthen scholarly exchange and collaboration in the field of Indian Studies. 

We look forward to meeting you at the conference, and wish you good health during the cold season.
