한국인도학회 지정기부금단체 선정

안녕하십니까,

사단법인 한국인도학회가 설립되어 한국 인도학의 발전에 큰 역할을 하며 학계를 이끌어온지 사반세기가 되었습니다.

지난 한 해 동안 학회 발전을 위하여 애써주신 회원 여러분께 깊은 감사를 드리며, 학회 운영에 대한 새로운 소식을 알려드리고자 합니다.

2014년 총회 때 발의하였던 정관 변경이 2015년 8월 25일부터 효력을 발생함에 따라, 한국인도학회가 지정기부금단체가 되도록 신청하여 지난 10월에 선정되었습니다.

이는 10월 1일 기획재정부 홈페이지에 공고되었으며 10월 5일자로 민간외교단체 커뮤니티 홈페이지(http://www.p2pdc.or.kr)에도 게시되었음을 알려드립니다.

지정기부금단체로 선정됨으로써 한국인도학회에 기부금을 내는 기부자는 세제혜택을 받도록 되었으며, 개인과 법인 기업 모두 소득공제(손비처리)가 가능해졌습니다. 개인기부자의 경우 3천만원 이하 소득금액의 30% 한도내에서 15% 세액공제(3천만원 초과분에 대해 30% 세액공제)를 받을 수 있으며, 법인기부자의 경우 소득의 10% 손비산정을 인정받을 수 있습니다. 

설립 이후 25년간 한국인도학회는 학회원 여러분께서 내시는 연회비와 함께 한국연구재단 및 인도대사관, 그리고 인도와 깊은 인연을 맺어온 여러 기업의 후원으로 운영이 가능하였으며, 이 자리를 빌어 이에 깊은 감사를 드립니다. 이번 지정기부금단체 선정을 통하여, 한국인도학회 및 인도학의 발전과 더욱 알찬 활동을 위하여 개인 및 법인기업의 많은 후원을 부탁 드리며, 영수증 발행 및 기타 문의사항이 있으신 경우, 저나 학회 간사의 이메일로 연락 주시면 바로 답신 드리도록 하겠습니다.

한국인도철학회와 공동 주최하는 추계학술대회(11월 28일 1시반 한국외대 교수회관)에서 다시 인사드리기 바라며, 이만 마치겠습니다. 감사합니다.

Dear Members and Friends of the Korean Society for Indian Studies, 

It has been twenty-five years since the establishment of the Korean Society for Indian Studies (Inc.), which has led the studies of India and South Asia in Korea. We sincerely thank all members and friends of the Society, and would like to inform you of a change in the management of the Society. This October, the Society was approved as a "Designated Donation Organization" by the Korean Government, which will allow individuals or corporations to make donations and recieve tax deductions according to the law.

The Society reviewed our Rules and Regulations at our Regular Meeting of 2014, and agreed to make changes needed to apply for the Designated Donation Organization. Following the approval of the changes and application for the status, the Society was selected and the Korean Government has announced this fact in the homepage of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, as well as the Person-to-Person Diplomacy Community (http://www.p2pdc.or.kr).

During the past quarter of a century, the Society has been able to publish its renowned Journal of Indian Studies and organize conferences with the support of the Annual Fees of the members, as well as the generous support of the Indian Embassy and other companies interested and related to India and South Asia. We thank you sincerely for the support, and hope that with the approval of the Society as "Designated Donation Organization", the Society may be able to enjoy further financial support of individuals and corporations.
