한국인도학회가 선문대학교 글로컬 통합대학원, 한국외국어대학교 인도연구소 공동주최로 제40차 정기학술대회를 개최하고자 합니다.

이번 학술대회는 요가, 경제, 힌두전통이라는 소주제들을 통해 인도의 요가와 수행을 살피고, 현대 경제와 함께 힌두의 전통과 관습을 조망할 수 있게 준비되었습니다.

귀한 논문의 발표를 맡아주신 분들과 사회와 토론을 맡아 주신 분들, 학술대회를 위해 애쓰신 임원님들과 학회원님들께 감사드립니다. 아울러 후원을 통해 풍성한 학술대회를 마련할 수 있게 도움을 주신 주한인도대사관에 마음 깊이 감사를 드립니다.

Invitation

The Korean Society for Indian Studies will hold its 40th Regular Conference with the Glocal Graduate School of Sun Moon University and the Institute of Indian Studies, HUFS.

As seen in the title “Yoga, Economics, and the Hindu Tradition,” the panels of this conference will feature presentations on yoga and asceticism, contemporary economics, and traditions and customs of Hinduism.

I thank the presenters for offering to participate with their fine research, as well as the discussants and moderators for each panel. I also thank the board and members of the Society for their efforts in preparing the conference. We send our sincere thanks to the Indian Embassy in Seoul for their financial support that has enabled this conference of the Society.

We invite all students and researchers in the field, and hope to share our joy in Indology.
